Looking for answers

I’ve been thinking about one particular piece of work for many weeks now and can’t seem to progress with it. During lockdown, I have watched many crime dramas which always involve some form of incident room or gathering of evidence. I’m quite fascinated how these pieces of evidence are poured over and conclusions drawn from them.

Much inspired by artist Susan Hiller, my idea was to create a series of objects which would be “found” in a garden and priced together to form a story or narrative which would then be presented, possibly reaching some answers to the questions raised.

It’s still very much work in progress as you can see, and away from television, most mysteries do remain unanswered.
