Through the lens
I’m looking. I’m trying to find clarity, trying to clear my mind, trying to calm anxiety. In bed, I follow the shadow from my lampshade, I can’t close my eyes yet. I think of my day, and I think of tomorrow. I think of when this lockdown will end. My glasses don’t bring clarity to my fearful thoughts. I feel my life is half digital now, where the computer is the gateway to continuing my learning. My eyes look through the lens, searching for a place without the uncertainty of a life, where we are dependant on technology.
