An archive full of wonders that you are building here.
A kind of Catholic Cabinet of Curiosities. Donโt want to stereotype but it seems appropriate for an Italian to tackle this one.
I agree, I am probably interested in this kind of objects also because of my heritage (my family is religious, and I had to go to church when I was a child) and Italian culture, that surrounded me with all its oddities since when I was young.
I remember as a kid I had a fascination with the Palermo catacombs. I find those sort of places fascinating. If you are interested in this sort of stuff then I would have a read about Hart Island in New York City.
Thanks Eve, I’m just reading about it, that’s very interesting. It kind of reminds me of some “haunted” islands around Venice, especially Poveglia https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/poveglia-plague-island, San Servolo, famous for having been an insane asylum and San Michele, a cemetery-island.
That is okay! Iโm going to check those out! ๐
