La città vuota
This is a very famous song by an Italian singer, Mina, who was really popular in the Sixties. The title means: “Empty city”, and it’s not really about a quarantine, but about how the city looks totally empty without her love. However, still a good piece.
Also, maybe it’s finally a good time to watch Koyaanisqatsi (Godfrey Reggio)
and Wavelength (Michael Snow), to educate ourselves to patience, as a meditative experience, to relax, to reflect about life and death, time, humanity.
Wow: I think I’m in love with Mina: a curiously fascinating face. … sort of punk-looking before its time. I was mesmerised by the constellation of spots on her cheek.
Your quarantine has sharpened your brain, Mavi, for apposite references. You are bang-on-target with ‘Wavelength’ and it’s always good to get a burst of Koyaanisqatsi
